CANYONING
canyoning or canyoning is an outdoor activity that consists in descending streams on foot, with the necessary equipment, you can go down with a rope to the side of waterfalls, whenever possible you can dive, slide in the natural toboggans dug by the erosion of the water on the rock and of course you walk on the riverbed. In addition to the playful and adrenaline component, canyoning also means discovering hidden natural treasures, which could not be visited in any other way. The natural context where the streams flow is wonderful, made of pools of green and crystalline water, breathtaking waterfalls, luxuriant vegetation, raised walls carved and redesigned by the water.
OUR CANYONING COURSES
1 LEVEL
COURSE DEDICATED TO BEGINNERS WHO DECIDE TO APPROACH TORRENTISM. THE COURSE AIMS TO PROVIDE THE APPROPRIATE TOOLS TO ACHIEVE AN AUTONOMOUS PROGRESSION IN THE FORRA.
2 LEVEL
THIS COURSE PROPOSES TO TEACH THE CORRECT EQUIPMENT OF AN ARMO, THE PLANNING OF A CANYONING OUTPUT, ASCENT ON A SINGLE AND DOUBLE ROPE.
3 LEVEL
COURSE DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY MATURED A CERTAIN EXPERIENCE IN THE FORRA AND WANTS TO DEEPEN AND COMPLETE THEIR OWN KNOWLEDGE KNOWLEDGE, WITH A LOOK MORE TARGETED TO OWN SAFETY AND THE GROUP AT THE MOMENT OF CHOOSING THE MOST SUITABLE FIT.

Italian Association of Canyon Guides
AIGC trains, collects and organizes Canyoning professionals
The Italian Canyon Guide Association (AIGC) was born in 2010 with the intention of creating a competent figure in the field of accompaniment in canyons (forra) and giving her the right professional position.
The training of the Canyon Guides, long and demanding, gives them that indispensable technical baggage in accompanying them in safety.
The Canyon Guide has notions of progression in ravines on ropes and in water, swimming in white water, safety, rescue and self-rescue, as well as notions of meteorology, geology, communication, didactics, etc. All materials that give it a high quality target.

We are a group of enthusiasts and professionals of canyoning, river and mountain sports in general and in all its forms. In 2019 we started the "canyoning development in Valsesia" project to enhance canyoning activity in the valley and equip new streams for canyoning.
