Canyoning
canyoning or canyoning is an outdoor activity which consists of descending streams on foot, with the necessary and specific equipment, lowering oneself on a rope to the side of waterfalls, when possible diving to advance, sliding in the natural toboggans dug by the erosion of the water on the rock and obviously you walk on the river bed. In addition to the fun and adrenaline-filled component, canyoning also means discovering hidden natural treasures, which you couldn't visit otherwise. The natural context where the streams flow is wonderful, made up of pools of green and crystalline water, breathtaking waterfalls, lush vegetation, hollow walls dug and redesigned by the eternal passage of water

Course dedicated to beginners who decide to take up canyoning. The course aims to provide the appropriate tools to achieve autonomous progression in the gorge with a group of more experienced canyoneers.

Course dedicated to those who have already gained some experience in Canyon and want to deepen and complete their knowledge, with a more focused look at their own safety and that of the group by adopting the most suitable maneuver for the situation presented to them.
The base
We are in Piode (vc) in upper Valsesia just 130km from Milan and Turin. We have changing rooms with showers, bar, barbecue area, children's playground, tennis court, volleyball, football, basketball, bike point, access to the river....

The AIGC trains, collects and organizes Canyoning professionals
The Italian Canyon Guide Association (AIGC) was founded in 2010 with the aim of creating a competent figure in the field of canyo (gorge) accompaniment and giving it its right professional position.
The training of Canyon Guides, long and demanding, gives them the technical knowledge essential for safe accompaniment.
The Canyon Guide has notions of progression in the gorge on ropes and in water, swimming in white water, safety, rescue and self-rescue, as well as notions of meteorology, geology, communication, teaching, etc. All materials that give it a high quality target.
